Good Tuesday morning, beautiful people!

Need something to uplift your day? Well, I have just the thing! It’s one of my past sessions that I absolutely love! I never shared this session and several others with you guys, so I have a lot catching up to do on blogging. 🙈

Next on the blog: Little Miss Supermodel, Kavya! This unforgettable session was so vibrant, stylish, and fun!

I had a blast working with this adorable muffin diva - an aspiring model & actress who was voted by the Dallas/Fort Worth area as the winner of my Cutest Kid Contest. And let me tell you, baby girl can work the camera! 😃

🎀 ABOUT KAVYA 🎀

Kavya is an inquisitive, smart, friendly, and photogenic sweetheart! At the time of this shoot, she was 4 years old and so ahead of her time.

She enjoyed reciting the books of the bible, and loved watching TV and singing. While riding in the car with her mother Keya, she would sing along to the songs on the radio (and she still does!).

A quick learner, Kavya was taking selfies of me and herself only after holding my phone for a couple minutes. I think she knew how to use my phone better than me! Lol!

She told me that she thought her shoot with me was nice, different, fun, and like a fashion show. I LOVE making sure my clients enjoy their photo experience!

Kavya also really liked her photo props (in particular, the sunglasses 😎) and was very happy that her mother was able to take pictures with her.

Within her first week at a local bible-based school, Kavya quickly learned the days of week and already knew how to read very well beyond her age. So when new visitors came to her school (to inquire about entering their children into the school), Kavya gave introductory tours to the parents (including demonstrating what she has learned, and sharing with them about the school). It was predicted by her teachers that she will graduate at the salutatorian level (at least). She’s a pretty impressive kid!

Kavya enjoys singing in the choir at her church and participating in other church activities such as play performances. She also loves to run, would like to run track, and wants to be a cheerleader.

As a natural performer, Kavya is not shy about being in front of people. Now you see why I call her Little Miss Supermodel! Go baby girl!

Hey there, loves!

Can I be transparent for a moment? Ok, here goes…

I receive a lot of feedback from my clients and friends that I should step in front of the camera more. They always tease me, “How are you a photographer but don’t like being photographed!?!?” Ha! I guess they raise a good point!

Being photographed has always been very tough for me given I’m such an introvert. I must admit that it’s ironic how I absolutely love taking pictures of people but shy away from being photographed. What can I say…I’ve always been a nerdy, behind-the-scenes type of person.

Well, it will take some time but I’m working on coming out of my shell. Whew! 😳I decided to wear my favorite color purple, coordinate my makeup with it, and try out a short hairstyle. Let me know what you think!
